We have upgraded The Core machines every year and while it's still up in the air as to "if" we will, here is the proposed upgrade:

Coolermaster nVidia Edition Case
650w Power Supply
Asus P5QL Motherboard
Intel Quad Core Q9550 2.83GHz w/12MB Cache
8GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Memory
nVidia GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit GDDR3
WD 750GB SATA Hard Drive Black w/32MB Cache
Windows 7 64-Bit Edition
(if SmartLaunch is updated by then - otherwise XP Pro 64-bit)

We recently upgraded the monitors, mice and headphones.

The estimated cost is $1400 per unit. If we can sell our existing machines for $750 it will be possible @ one or two at a time.
We could also go with less but then why upgrade at all... if we upgrade, it mine as well be a worthwhile one.

See Tony if you are interested in purchasing one of the old units.

There is a whole lot more wrong with this sentence than Amber's typo.

Tony had a good idea! The customers who purchase one of the old Core systems will also get $100 time credit on their account! I will get together the specs and the final pricing sometime next week.

stay tuned...

Cool! When we get ready to buy them we will shop harder. Our technicians are very particular however. They like manufacturers who don't need a lot of hand holding and have limited or no compatibility issues. Definitely one of the perks of buying one of our computers... we are uber picky!

Thanks for looking out for us!
